DECK:
One piece fiberglass with hand laid roving and resin impregnated plywood
for stiffness and insulation. Non-skid is molded-in and plentiful. The
cockpit is self bailing with two scuppers. The high molded-in cockpit coaming
affords a comfortable backrest and gives a feeling of security when the
weather picks up
CENTERBOARD:
Molded fiberglass, built in half shells of hand laid cloth and roving,
then filled with high density foam and ballasted to give the proper negative
bouyancy. The board is secured with a 3/~ inch stainless steel pin.
RUDDER:
The rudder is a kickup type of proper shape housed in a corrosive resistant
aluminum enclosure.
INTERIOR:
A tasteful combination of hardwood veneers, mica laminates and hardwood
trim accent the interior component. The component itself is offiberglass
and designed to add strength to the hull and deck by being heavily fiberglassed
in position. The abundant stowage space is readily accessible through the
many doors, drawers, and access panels throughout the boat.
The galley includes a watersystem with a hand pump at the stainless
steel sink, a 2 burner recessed alcohol range and a large ice chest of
the Igloo type.
The interior cushions are 4 inch foam, covered with Pioneer Buff fabric.
A vee berth with filler. dinette with backrests and filler, and quarter
berth cushions are standard, The head is standard with a Porti-Potti portable
toliet, This meets Coast Guard requirements and eliminates the inconvenience
of seeking a pump out station. The electrical system includes a fused panel,
battery selector switch, interior lighting and running lights. A single
76 amp. battery is standard and another is added when the optional diesel
engine is ordered,
RIG:
Cat ketch with roller furling masts and self-tending wishbone booms.
Eurling is from the cockpit. Masts are unstayed and built of tapered aluminum.
Sails are dacron, with a sacrificial leeching strip of blue or brown sunbrella,
for protection from the sun when furled,
